Social Tie Dye (Spring 2022)

The High Tie Dye party was a small group, but everyone had lots of fun creating beautiful tie-dye masterpieces. 

 

Our Outreach coordinator provided hands-on instructions on

folding, tying, color mixing, dye applications, and more.  

 

All supplies were on hand, mixed up, and ready to go,

All AMSA Members had to do was arrive and have fun

being creative.

 

Everyone had a lot of fun and can’t wait to do it again!

Suture Clinic (Spring 2022)

We had 2 army representatives come and run a suture clinic where students learned basic techniques on how to suture a wound

During the clinic, the army representatives provided information on pursuing medical professions through the army, instrument basics such as suture types and selection, proper loading of the needle, wound assessment, local anesthesia, aftercare, and documentation. 

We were lucky enough to get some visiting Military Medics to educate us in the art of suturing! Look for similar opportunities in the future!
